5 x 7 Quick Study # 22 — Lajolla Cove # 15

La Jolla Cove one of the most beautiful places on the Pacific Coast. This is the 15th time I have painted this scene. It is my 22nd painting in my series of 5 x7. My quest is to complete at least 100 small studies by the end of April. And 100 studies/paintings of the Cove by the end of the year.
The 5 x 7’s are completed quickly. Some will be revisited and retouched but for the most part I will leave then as they are so I can chronicle my progress. It is a great way to practice every day. I have added this ritual to my life. It is kind of like jogging, and similiar to breakfast because it feeds my soul. It is a sacrament that enriches my day.
