I have been really concerned with foam patterns lately.  I still am.  This comes close to expressing the foam patterns following breaker after breaker.  There are many things to paint at the cove, the ocean , the sky , the land masses, the animals birds and dogs, and the people.  The sky is often time flat like you see it here.  In some of my paintings I have made the sky more interesting that it actually was at the moment of creation.  The ocean is sometimes flat, sometimes rough, and sometime rhythmic in its action, I capture what I can.  The colors light and atmosphere at the end of the painting are much different than they were at the beginning so I must work quickly.  The 5 x 7 panel gives me the ability to work quickly.
