La Jolla Cove # 83

I am a little behind, the weather, the crazy makers, my own distractions.  It is a phenomenon that happens to artist, programmers, large corporation small corporations, that moments before completing something major,  any distraction even a minor one will show up.  Something at the beginning of the project that seemed inconsequential are now monumental.  It just requires pushing through to the goal.

Oil Painting: La Jolla Cove # 80 5 x7

This is the 80th painting of La Jolla Cove.  I am gathering framing and figuring out the best way to display all on hundred of them.  Some one told me I should display them harmoniously, but I a siding with sequentially.  Since they are all essentially of the same topic, the harmony will be secondary to the display.  I thing the progression is the thing most people are interested in.

This is painting #79 of La Jolla Cove.  I could probably do them from memory, now.  But part of the experience is just being there for a few hours each day making time stand still.  Everyday I give myself the opportunity to paint is a marvelous day.
